CHECK-INS

We held check-ins outside of the NBA Store starting at 1:30PM. Once you got checked-in with a Hypeist rep, you were given a card with the password,  swishon it.

TIP OFF

At 2PM it was time to take off the warmups and lace up. We posted a link to a webpage in our Instagram bio. Once you clicked that link, you were directed to start the game as the Knicks (blue route) or the Warriors (yellow route).

You needed to give it 110% throughout all 4 quarters of the hunt if you wanted the W.

Upon clicking either the Knicks or Warriors button is when you entered the password, swish, to start the first quarter and access the clue to the first location.

FIRST QUARTER

The first location for the Knicks players and Warriors players were different. However, the clue was same and read,

THIRD QUARTER

Going into halftime playing that well was no easy feat, so we wanted to make sure the second half of the hunt was just as challenging.

Solving the third location was a 2-step process. In part one, you solved for a company that he interned at, and in part two, you solved for their old HQ address.

The first part read,

Status update: HB's resume is stacked with a full-time job at the Warriors, but during his off-season training, he hasn't only been logging hours for Kerr, but has also been putting in work at this Menlo Park Tech company.

ANSWER: FACEBOOK

You entered the code, facebook, to unlock the second part. You did not have to find a hidden code for part one.

BUZZER BEATER

After arriving at HBO, we put the rock in your hands and let you hit the buzzer beater (just as HB had done against the 76ers the night before).

To hit the buzzer beater you had to find one of the seven mini basketballs hidden in a court yard nearby.

LOCATION: GRACE BUILDING COURTYARD

Clue to Location #5

Clue to Location #5

The two nearest courtyards were the Grace Building courtyard and the Bryant Park courtyard, but we alluded to the fact that you'd never make the buzzer beater (AKA lose) if you headed to Bryant Park.
